Welcome to Christian Family Educators

Christian Family Educators of Shreveport/Bossier (CFE of Shreveport/Bossier) is a non for profit Christian organization exclusively organized for the purpose of providing support and services to families who are educating their children at home in northwest Louisiana.

We serve and support our families by a variety of ways including aiding in the establishment and growth of Christian home education in our community, and promoting sound, high-quality home education programs by parents or legal guardians for the purpose of developing Christ-like character, and which will satisfy the spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional growth needs of their children.

CFE’s goal is to better equip home school families with the necessary skills, tools, and information to successfully fulfill their God-given legal and constitutional right to home educate in the State of Louisiana regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation. The CFE Board of Directors are member volunteers working to protect the conscientious rights of parents to control the education and upbringing of their children according to Biblical principles and Constitutional liberties.
